Gordon Astley was born at a very early age, and before he knew it he was 3! The rest he says was all a bit of a blur.
Like many broadcasters he took a roundabout route to his current job. Upon leaving school he was to be a dentist but, he says he failed to make the right impression!
There was a brief period working for a fashion and glamour photographer but he was worried about the affect on his eyesight and went to work for BBC Television as a cameraman and sound effects operator on “The Archers”.
It was around this time that local radio started up in the UK.
The powers that be noticed Astley had quite an outgoing manner and so they shipped him off to local radio where he has worked for most off his broadcasting career with the odd foray into television.
Gordon’s expertise and experience as an entertainer and broadcaster added to his skill as a graphologist mean that he is a real asset to any corporate event.
